The Dales Nursing Home is an inviting and private space for residents and their families, We are proud of the work that we do within our home, ensuring life at the home is as stimulating and fulfilling as much as possible, within a kind, safe and caring environment.

Our home is traditional with a homely feel. All our rooms are well maintained, with sink ensuite, making it a comfortable and safe environment for our residents. We offer a warm, friendly welcome, with cosy, inviting lounges and communal spaces.

Home Comforts

Residents’ bedrooms are beautifully decorated with modern, bright fittings and furnishings throughout, and are all equipped with call bell facilities. We encourage our residents to personalise their rooms with pictures and photographs, they are welcome to bring personal items to ensure their comfort.

Our Gardens

The home is set in a lovely, green environment with garden space to the front, side and back with shrubs and lawn. The Garden area is designed to relax, stimulate, and be enjoyed all year round. We also have an outdoor patio area for residents and their families, for safe visiting during Covid times.

Intimate and
personal

The Dales is registered to accommodate 31 residents, made up of 2 double rooms and the remaining single bedrooms. Residents may have telephones in their rooms, and have access to an ipad and the internet if they wish to Facetime with family and friends.

WELLBEING

We passionately believe that the body and the mind are very closely linked – and that keeping the body active, even for those who are perhaps less mobile than they once were – is crucial. We take our responsibility very seriously.

THE TEAM

The whole staff team go above and beyond their usual duties on a daily basis to make our home the special place it is for our residents, their families and friends.

NUTRITION

We cater for different dietary requirements and provide home cooked meals prepared onsite.
