Marie Brown
Manager
Marie started her career as a nurse and moved to The Dales Nursing Home as Matron in 2003. She is highly respected amongst the Exeter medical community. Marie has a wealth of experience in nursing care and her ethos of ‘kindness first’ is at the heart of everything the home does.
Madison Hayward
Operations Manager
Maddy has worked in care since 2013. The care industry has faced many challenges within the last few years, Maddy thoroughly enjoys playing her part within this ever-changing profession. Maddy’s passion for staff and resident experience at The Dales plays a key part in her busy role as Operations Manager. Fun Fact about Maddy – “My life is hugely inspired by Japanese culture and everything anime. I’m looking forward to getting married in 2024 in Toyko wearing a traditional Hikifurisode.”
Roger Gomez
Nursing Assistant
Roger has a background as a paramedic and joined the team three years ago. Roger is a well liked, valued, and respected member of the team. He is great in emergencies and provides invaluable support to the registered nursing team.
Marie Irvine
Activities and Wellbeing Coordinator
Marie joined us last year and has been a great asset to the team, spending one-to-one time with the resident’s and increasing their quality of life. She joins us as a change of career away from catering and other varied roles. Her bubbly nature and smile creates such a warmth in the communal areas.

We all get to the stage when life catches up with us. We offer respite care, residential care and end-of-life care, delivered by kind, caring, well trained staff.
